Meet our Pastor

Sean O. Calhoun, Sr.

Sean Calhoun, Sr., is not only God’s man; he’s a man’s man!

He has an awesome prison ministry and created an 8-week program for those incarcerated called, “Real Talk Men’s Advancement Class”. He teaches to standing room only audiences in the prison which not only leaves the incarcerated in awe, but the staff as well. He lives his life to empower men to become a better father, husband, and a productive member of society. While serving nearly 5 years in a federal penitentiary at the age of 19 for gun and drug possession charges, he gave his life over to the Lord and has been preaching the gospel ever since.

Pastor Calhoun is not only a pastor to the church, but he also desires to be the pastor of the community, helping others see that through the redemptive power of the Holy Spirit, they too can show the world what redemption looks like!

He is an ordained Elder in the Church of God in Christ, serves as the jurisdictional chairman for the TN Central Pastor’s & Elders Council under the leadership of Bishop Brandon B. Porter, and is the regional chairman for the national General Council of Pastors & Elders for the national Churches of God in Christ.

He is married to La’Kesha Ford Calhoun with whom he has three children, one daughter-in-love, and one grandson.
